Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran between 2015 and present. In the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played 13-year-old Lebanese American teenager Jasira that experiences a rollercoaster of emotions within the context in the context of U.S. military's invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War. She was chosen by Variety to be one of their 10 actors to watch. She played another powerful character Taslima Jahangir in 2009's film crime drama Crossing Over for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Lead category.
